did future attempt to clap BACK to jay z?
1st off!! 4:44 WENT PLATINUM ON TODAY!
Future and JAY-Z appear to be at odds after Jigga referenced him on his new album, 4:44. Future responded to the alleged diss, but was dragged by fans for being lame.
Future, who collaborated with JAY-Z on DJ Khaled’s track “I Got the Keys,” apparently took offense at what he thought was a jab from Hov.
On JAY-Z’s track “The Story of O.J.,” Hov raps, “Y’all on the ‘Gram holdin’ money to your ear / There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.”
Future responded to the song by hopping on Snapchat to share a photo of himself holding a stack of cash to his ear.
He wrote in the caption, “U ain’t got the juice like dat. MOOD.”
Fans quickly hopped into the comments section to clown Future for the post.
User forthecommongood_ wrote, “Lol he could NEVER be Hov.”
Guwopjuice_ posted, “You are not that good of a rapper to come at Jay.”
Blackaneese22 commented, “Future you better chill before jay really come for you and do a drake diss and you will be taking that L just stop.”
Theonlycasper_ wrote, “Future is worth 8 million while Jay Z is worth 610 million Who really got the juice ?”
And one fan brought up the line in JAY-Z’s song, “Kill JAY-Z”, where he appeared to really diss Future. Follower mr_mel_o wrote, In the future playing football with your Son. #russellwilson.”
On the 4:44 album’s opening track, JAY-Z raps about how cheating would have changed his family. He appeared to take a swipe at Future when he rapped, “I don’t even know what you would’ve done. In the future, other [expletive] playin’ football with your son/You had lost it, 13 bottles of Ace of Spade what it did to Boston.”
The line appeared to reference Future’s son, who was famously seen playing football with Ciara’s new husband, NFL star Russell Wilson.
