did Jen Jen Hudson loose custody of her son?
Most of us were pretty surprised to learn that Jennifer Hudson had dropped the protective order against her ex, David Otunga, after claiming she feared for her “physical and emotional safety and that of my son.” An insider has now revealed the true reason behind Hudson’s change of heart.
Hudson, 36, requested an emergency order of protection against Otunga, 37, on Nov. 16 after the couple split after ten years together. Jennifer accused the former wrestler of being aggressive and threatening her. (THE NERVE OF HIM)
“The Voice UK” coach claimed that Otunga intimidated her with a gun and feared he would physically harm her or take off with their 8-year-old son David Jr.
Jennifer recently made the decision to drop the protective order against David and a judge signed off on the motion on Monday.
Otunga’s reps have claimed that Hudson dropped the restraining order to avoid having to testify under oath about the alleged abuse. David’s attorney had already stated that the allegations were false, suggesting Jennifer lied in order to obtain custody of their son.
A source close to the singer hit back, stating that Hudson wanted to avoid a messy court battle for her son’s sake.
The source said Hudson would “have no issue testifying in course because she has witnesses to back up her account of the altercation that went down the night before she filed the order of protection.”
