Did stars renew power for 2 more seasons?

Have you seen the 1st episode? Starz has just announced they are renewing the gangster drama, “Power” for Season 4 and Season 5. The news comes on the heels of their Season 3 premiere on Sunday that pulled in tons of viewers.

The show reportedly had 2.26 million live viewers for last week’s episode, which we are certain came into play in the decision to renew the popular show.

Starz president and CEO Chris Albrecht stated, “Along with our executive producers and the talented Power cast and crew, [executive producers Courtney Kemp, Mark Randall Emmett, Gary Lennon and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson] have created one of the most distinct dramas I’ve ever had the good fortune of putting on the air. The fans have let it be known loud and clear that they cannot get enough of Ghost, Tommy, Tasha, Angela and Kanan.”

Earlier this year, producer Courtney Kemp believed the storyline of Season 3 would lead to a fourth Season.

Kemp said, “Season 4, it’s a completely different show. You are in the process of getting there during Season 3. The show is going to look very different in Season 4. The process of getting there involves a lot of change and transformation, and some of the things in the show fall away in a great way.”

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, an executive producer and cast member, said in a statement: “I knew Power was going to be something special from the first concept meeting I had with Mark Canton. The fans support for the show has been the driving force of its success and I can’t wait to bring them two more seasons full of action and suspense.”

Fiddy tweeted, “You know its gonna get crazier and crazier 😆 POWER Renewed for SEASON 4 & 5.”
